Simple Tab Saver - a Visual Studio extension with a compact toolbar UI that saves and restores opened document tabs, using plain and portable JSON. Available for free on the Visual Studio Marketplace. It started as a replacement for an extension that stopped working, and the Dev Journal documents how it grew from there.
